G3CS Makes the Honor Roll
Stafford, Virginia – G3Community Services received a commendation certificate from the Virginia School Board Association during the Stafford County School Board meeting on Tuesday, June 11. G3CS was recognized as a part of the 2019 Business Honor Roll program for its support of the counties public schools with programs such as Extraordinary Young Minds (EYM) and The Bridge Program. Sherrie Johnson, Director of Strategic Communication & Community Engagement for Stafford County Public Schools said this during the presentation:
“And we thank GCubed Community Services and GCubed Enterprises for providing a mentorship program at 10 elementary schools to teach character development through science, technology, engineering, art, and math; providing an apprenticeship program that supports high school seniors as they transition to college, the military, and the workforce; serving as a volunteer coach for Sea Pearch, Focus program, and Career Café; sponsoring a Chick-Fil-A breakfast for all elementary, middle, and high school counselors; and donating 30 laptops, four robotics kits, and 150 Thanksgiving and holiday dinners to SCPS families in need.”
Vernon Green Jr., Founder of G3CS responded to the recognition saying, “We are very excited to receive this commendation from the VSBA in response to our efforts in our community. We are equally as humbled to be represented with the other fantastic recipients of this honor. We believe that consistency is the key to success when it comes to changing lives, and this serves as an inspiration to us at G3Community Services to continue to strive to make a difference in Stafford. It’s a mission we do not take lightly, and we are so thankful for the recognition and the support.”
